Please reach us at katie@principlesbk.nyc if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The first thing I want to know is whether you want your event to be public or private and whether or not you want to host it during business hours. The path of least resistance is a public event during business hours, but I’ll explain all the scenarios.
We simply need to find and agree on a date and time and commit to it. I ask that these events be free of charge to attend and in return the space is free for you to use. You may solicit attendees for financial donations and keep all the proceeds, but please don’t be a nuisance about it.
I ask for an hourly sliding-scale fee of $50-100/hr. This fee will cover the cost of having a barista on bar for service and to close up shop upon the completion of your event. You may charge an entry fee for tickets to your event and I will not ask for any cut. There is a non-refundable deposit of $50 required at booking; this deposit will go towards your rental fee but if you cancel or reschedule then the fee is forfeit.
I rent out the space on a nightly basis. The sliding scale fee is $300-600 Monday through Thursday and $400-800 Friday through Sunday. This fee gives you unfettered access to the space from closing time (typically 18:00) until one hour before opening the following day (typically 07:00). There is a non-refundable deposit of $100 required at booking; this deposit will go towards your rental fee but if you cancel or reschedule then the fee is forfeit.
There is an hourly fee of $400/hr. This fee will cover the cost of having a barista on bar for service and does not include drinks.
There is no alcohol, no marijuana, and no age restriction.
You may byob and/or sell/provide any beverages you like.
Send me a DM on IG and I can let you know what dates are available. For all first-time vendors I charge a $25 non-refundable table fee and you may only book one market to attend. Upon the successful completion of your first market you may book any number of future markets at no additional fee. All food vendors must be 100% vegan. I provide each vendor with a table (approximately three feet by two feet) and chair. I cannot guarantee more space than this, but on a case-by-case basis we can allot more space.
We aren't hiring.
